Project Registration Service

With the introduction of The Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act, 2016 all the Projects on land more than 500 sq.mtrs or at least eight apartments must obtain RERA registration. The main aim of the introduction of the act is to regularise the Real Estate sector and to protect the interest of the homebuyers and to assist them in making more informed decisions. The act has brought in more accountability, transparency, and professionalism on the part of the promoters. Also, the dispute resolution mechanism prescribed in the act has led to reduction in litigation and increased confidence on the part of the home buyers.

RERA Registration Process

Complete the RERA registration questionnaire provided by us in the excel format.

Take Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) Membership

Provide the documents as required most importantly-

(Basic KYC documents, Legal Title report in the prescribed format, Document of Layout Approval (IOA/IOD), Building Plan Approval, Commencement Certificate, Certificates from Architect, Engineer, and Chartered Accountant and Model Allotment Letter and Agreement for Sale.)

Get the Commencement Certificate verified by the Planning Authority- An email must be sent to designated email id by the Planning Authority to ascertain the authenticity and genuineness of the Commencement certificate provided by the Promoter.

After receiving the complete details application shall be made to MahaRERA for Project Registration on payment of prescribed fees. (The prescribed fees for project registration is determined on the basis of the Plot Area of the Project)

After scrutinising the application and documents, the authorities shall grant the Registration Certificate along with the Project QR Code within 30 days of application. (** It is compulsory to display the Certificate along with the QR Code at the project Site and in all the marketing materials)
